Shut off Parking Mirrors? (1 Viewer)

Okay, can someone tell me how to shut off the parking mirrors (the mirrors that show the back tire when the car is in reverse) ? I really don't like them because I don't need them. Or at the very least tell me where in my books that is.

Hi, when in reverse adjust the mirrors to normal position. They will store this location so you will have minimal/low change in future. Here is the specific instruction from the GX owners manual.

On most Toyotas the mirrors 'dip' to show whats next to the car if the mirror adjustment switch is left or right. If its centered the mirrors don't move when you shift into reverse.

I will try both of these. Thank you very much. This is actually my first Toyota that does this. My wife's '24 Rav4 doesn't.

Press in center of L/R mirror adjustment selector switches to deactivate mirror dip (no indicator lights). Reactivate by pressing either switch.
