shocks/stabilizer for HJ75 truck

Need to replace all shocks and front stab shock on my 1985 HJ75 pickup. Any recommendations as to brands and parts #'s?

What are your leaf springs like ? Are they heavy duty aftermarket or original OEM,in good condition . You need to choose a shock that suits the springs.
I got dobinsons shocks and they are ok.

I have the original springs and they are good. I don't know what is the best match up for this truck since my knowledge of the 85 75 series truck is far below that of Charles

I have fairly heavy rate springs, koni shocks on the rear which seem pretty good, up front factory 80 series rear shocks, they are firm but seem to control the front end pretty well.

I havent seen any original springs last 27 years but Ill take your word for it.

Are you in the US.Try Mike at West Coast Cruisers.He will have the dobinsons which are good heavy duty,basic shock that shouldnt break the bank.
Ive had them for 5 years and they are still good and I have spent thousands of klms on bad outback roads.
Ill probably be looking at some new ones when I replace the rear springs later this year.
