I posted up on regular mud but couldn't get a response, was hoping my fellow club members could help. Ok I've currently got what appear to be stock shackles and about a 2 to 2.5 inch lift on my 82' 40. I'm wanting to put the entire OME kit on next summer but need shocks now. I've taken measurements of them with the full weight of the car on them. I've also removed one from the front and back and compressed and extended them as far as I could and measured both of those lengths. My question is what measurements do I need to compare to make sure that the OME shocks from the kit will fit with my current set up. The lengths that 4x4 connection gave me show that the Emu's are just a little bit longer (about an inch) when fully extended and that their compressed lengths are about an inch and a half shorter than mine when fully compressed. Unless I'm a moron this tells me that those shocks will fit just fine right? Thanks.
