Hey guys I am running the RC 3" spacer in the front and the spring and shock in the rear. I was wondering if I could or should replace the shocks? And should I get a better ride? I really don't go off roading much just a DD For me. I'm just looking for a better ride. I'll be doing a road trip to Florida from new jersey. Thanks for the help

The springs are what is causing the harsher ride more than the shocks. Its difficult to increase the spring load, allowing more lift w/o making the ride a bit more harsh. Its about matching the vehicle load (with the weight of bumpers, roof racks, interior loads) and the load rating of the springs with the compression/rebound damping of the shocks.
Companies will shoot for the middle, why I opted for an adjustable coilover in the front.
If I were in your shoes, I'd look at finding the resources to get a set of adjustable coilovers so you can dial in your ride comfort...

Radflo offers a 2.0 coil over for the front of the FJ that will allow you to set the ride height. We also offer a choice of spring rates depending on the weight of your vehicle and the application.
