Shackle angle help/ new springs? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

I currently have what I believe to be a 4" lift kit from a previous owner. I have no idea what it is but it is more than a 2.5".

I am having some problems with shackle angle. Here is what I have at the moment.
The front gets slightly better once the hood/fenders are added. I am planning on going with a soft top, so the rear will not really receive any more weight.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Do I need to get new springs? If anyone has spare 4" lift springs laying around, I would gladly purchase them.

Fronts don’t look too bad, the rear isn’t that happy though. How does it sit? High in the rear? You can try pulling a single leaf out of each rear spring pack to soften it up a bit.

It sits pretty evenly but I imagine that's because the rear has 2.75" center to center shackles while the front has 4.5". I'm planning on swapping the shackles to both be the same so the rear will sit higher.

I posted it to the 40 forum and the consensus was that I have 4" skyjacker shocks which take a little weight to break in. By the time I change the shackles out, add the bows, seats, spare tire, bumper, etc, it should level out.
