This months Meet and Greet will be at the Smokey Oak Taproom on James Island, SC. at 1230pm (I will be there around Noon).

We will be finalizing who plans on attending the Uwharrie "Wintery Mix Run" we are doing in coordination with ONSC's own run that same weekend. We will also finalize date for Oyster Roast in January try to get a schedule for next year up unless we have enough at Uwharrie and then can discuss around fire Friday evening.

Possible Topics-

1- more business cards or stickers
2- fleece vest, stocking cap, ball cap or shirt for club members
3- Uwharrie club dinner/meeting Friday night since will usually have big pot luck on Saturday with ONSC group?
4- Talk about trails for newbies...
5- confirm date for Oyster Roast in January...menu, refreshments, etc
6- start thinking about next year... Uwharrie in Spring.....Carolina Beach....GSMTR....family event during Summer somewhere....HAMOM...LOGANS RUN at Uwharrie again......and the Wintery Mix Run again next December.

I won't be able to make this. I have to cook for 300 people at my kids school. they have a festival to raise money for the PTA.
 
Okay....have fun. Man I thought you did not cook anymore just were a FigureHead of the establishment with all the underlings to do the work for you. :) :)

If you want anything discussed or otherwise brought up at meeting get with me this week.

LOL.....we will spread it around after you start showing up. :) We have done them at Buffalo Wild Wings in Summerville.......Suwee Diner near Awendaw.....and a couple other spots.

Pick a good spot for our next one in February or March......
 
I should have an image and prices for the fleece jacket buy for club....so we can finalize the design, color, etc...and get these on order so we can wear them at Uwharrie in December. Never been up there in December when it was not snowing or cold enough for snow... :)
 
Dont forget about meeting Saturday, 12:30pm at Smokey Oak Tap Room on James Island...just off Camp Road. It is suppose to be cool...HIGH of 60 tomorrow with 15mph winds...so wear your fleece. Wait,......we dont have them yet! :) LOL

Why wouldnt it be....what is difference if you bring both with wife or someone driving one of them since BBQBoy is not going to make it now...he has a scrapbook meeting tomorrow.

I went over and talked to Rick, the owner, at Smokey Oak and he is going to put some tables together for us to keep them reserved for us in case there are a bunch of people (I know him) and I hope he brings the rat rod tomorrow if the weather is good because you have to check it out, it is sweet!

I let him know that someone would be there around noon with anyone else showing up around 12:30.

Rick will be there all day so if there is any confusion or problems ask for him. I may or may not be there early as well.
 
Not sure what bbqqueen is talking about but there is plenty of room there to bring whatever you want. If you want I can even have them move the planters in the front that block some of the parking to make parking just for us if you like. Of course that would be for everyone but the bbqboy....

Glenn and Chris took off in their FJ40s before we could snap a pic..plus they parked illegally up at front rather than in back with rest of us. LOL

There was someone else that parked on the end with us so we put a card and such on windshield and he came out with parents and drove off....I think he was scared. He thought BBQ Boy was with us....we should have told him it was safe. :)

Good turnout...we had 7 show up for the meeting and lunch.

1. Question was asked about tshirts....decided to do them in Spring for warmer months

2. Collected money from Rob and Chris for fleece jackets; took order for Mr. and Mrs. ShermanFJ62

3. Confirmed we were still on for January Oyster Roast at Glenns...will nail down date and get list out for things we need such as oysters, side dishes, desserts, refreshments, etc.

4. Handed out some additional business cards and stickers.

5. Talked about Uwharrie....and other items but mostly was just a good relaxing lunch with lots of BS and laughing...some Cruiser talking....and some good food and beer.

Thanks all for coming out....was fun.
