Service Scedule for BJ74

Just bought my first Land Cruiser .
1987 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER (BJ74V-PNX)
LX JPN HT 13BT ATM . Because it has no user manual , and I am new to Diesel, 24 volt, an air filter that sits in oil and many other new things . I am trying to find out when to change things and with what . any help here would be great . I have been searching the internet but have not found anything .

air filter in oil? i dont think thats right, in my 13bt the air filter just sits in the airbox, unscrew the wingnut on the top then undo the clips around the box,

doesnt require any special servicing i dont think, just change oil and filter every 5000km, and follow basic servicing as you would for pretty much any other 4wd,

what other things did you want to find out?

Hello,

Looks like you got yourself a nice rig.

User manuals appear every now and then on eBay Australia. There was one at auction last weekend.

From the online manuals, check the one titled 1986 Maintenance Procedures.

THanks Blurr . I never looked in the air breather . THe canister that it is in looked so big that I assumed it was the oil type . Its winter here and I don't like diggin around vehicle in the cold . I am retiring in the spring so that is when I really plan to start using it . So I am spending the winter just trying to learn whatever I can about it
