I have only driven it from the dealer home, But it is certainly a step up from the old Honda CB350f, I love it already!
My brother will be taking ownership of the Honda this weekend, So at least that will stay in the family.

How's the ride quality? I want a 1200gs...one day...

I like the ride, It is adjustable for weight and dampening, It has a good upright seating position, This is the tallest of their Dual sports(IIRC)

It was so effortless driving up Canyons on the motorcycle.

I just got home from a drive this morning, I had to gas up after running Emigration Canyon, 201+ miles on the trip meter, It only took 2.6 gallons to fill it, That's right around 78MPG! on 87octane.

I know many are adjustable, This is the weight adjuster.

Both are set to 187lbs rider from the factory, But it seems to be fine for me, I weigh in at 163, But who knows, I may lighten it up a tad.
Good luck!

A hair over 1800 miles so far, I've added a couple things to it, Like a center stand, rox raisers, some other farkle armor and I gave her a fat ass!

Coldest ride so far was a week or so ago, I thought it would be fun to head to the gunshow with cruiseroutfitters... The temps at 9am was 8 damn degrees! I made it to and from with no issues other than cold toes, fingers(with the heated grips on high) and a cold chin.

Still pleased I bought it, the only bummer is watching it sit in the garage while I am still paying for it...

My trip went well, let me just say, I hate sand...
Camp.

It was a great trip, drove just under 500 miles, camped at Lone Warrior in the San Rafael Swell, drove home through Buckhorn Wash on the way out.
The reason I hate sand? I was making good speed(35-40mph) through the dirt road from I-70 towards camp when I hit some silty sand, which caused me to slow down considerably before it stopped me dead, and tossed me off, I'm still new to this whole dual sport thing, and I loved every min. of it, my shoulder hurt like hell for the couple days we were there, but by yesterday it felt better.
I packed WAY more than I needed, That being fuel and clothes, I made it the whole way home on a single tank of gas, the gas light had turned on once I hit I-15 near Provo, I was able to make it the final 45 miles to home before I filled up, however it only took 3.8 gallons.
I have a gopro video of me coming off, but I need to figure out how to edit it as the video is 28 min. long, I also have some 130 gopro pics of the drive to and from.

The rest of my pics are here if any of you wish to view them, nothing too crazy.
