I have Quicksilver aluminum truck tent mounted on an army trailer frame. It sleeps four, in one double bed and two twins. The double bed folds up and creates a booth with a pop up table. It has water and electric hook ups. There is a boat tongue welded to the military trailer. It has a cool front storage box, rear stabilizers, and the suspension is bolted to the frame and you can move the axle 20" either front to back. It has a 3500# axle.

I never use it and I want to sell it. So, what do you guys think it's worth.

I think the tent itself retails for around $4K. When I come up with a price, I'll post it for sale in the classifieds.

That's a nice little camping rig already, with potential to build out further with more goodies.

Realistically, considering the economy, asking $2000 as it sits may still not be low enough to get a lot of nibbles. If it was me I'd start wherever I felt comfortable, probably around $3000, then see what happens. Always easier to go down than it is to feel you let it go too cheap.

Someone is going to get a good deal then.

You may even consider taking the tent off and selling it separately. You might be able to get more for just the tent and then sell the trailer portion to someone else. Here is a link to another forum where items like this sell fairly well. Those tents are hard to come by and someone there might be interested in it.

Good luck with the sale. Too bad you couldn't use it.

You forgot to mention, the Dexter axle has a parking and electric brakes as a benefit. There shouldn't be any water lines to connect to the camper, just electrical for the 12v lamps and a 120v connector for the 120v outlets (no converter). The 12v lamps hang from the tops framework.

I put that trailer together to tow behind my 4cyl TJ. I've towed it through CO mnts into UT from KS and used it couple of times in other MO and KS places. It has made its way to the east coast from Kansas City.
The military trailer frame is that of the M101 3/4ton and the leafs are from the same. I do have the bump stops and last load spring still sitting in the garage. Never did add shocks, but my experience towing it, it didn't need them. It is well balanced. To lower the frame drastically, the axle was placed on top of the leafs. Do to the flat utility style of the trailer and that the military hangers were riveted, I drilled them out and drilled 4 more locations (5" apart) to locate the axle depending on the weight carried.
There are no wheelwells as I wasn't completed with the build before I sold it to your previous owner. I wanted to add storage boxes under camper's wings as the interior space is limited when folded up.

To get lift, adding leaf mounts to top of the axle can easily be done along with taller tires. Did you put permanant lights on it atleast?

Just wondering why you sold it?
