I'm in the market for a 95-97 80 series. I am not completely against earlier, but I would like the 95-97.
Anyhow, in looking, I am becoming more and more aware that I might have to start being less and less picky to find one. There aren't very many in my area (within 500 miles) that are interesting me too much, maybe 3. Within this narrowed selection it is hard it seems to find one with a cloth interior. I'm really not a leather guy at all... i'd live, but I really want that perfect rig and so everything is a trade off it seems. OK, long story short, what is the feasibility of swapping out seats to cloth if I find that perfect rig w/ leather seats? I have a feeling it's a pricey expedition, but thought i'd ask.
I know looking in yards is possible, and probably the cheapest route, but seems like the quality would be lacking. I see some pricey seat covers around, but none have a good high quality image on what to expect it seems. It just shows the fabric selection. (Anyone know of any pictures regarding this?)
