got a thread in chitchat going, there are a handful of template to rework....most likely, that's the cause...

if it's still broke Monday, then my adjustments this weekend failed...lol

okay --

-- i had a major problem with duplicate posts -- what happened was that the upgrade script kept stalling, and that screwed up my database --

-- we went and ran the german guy's command line scripts and all was well --

-- the double post thing was the sign of a major error for me -- hopefully it isn't for you -- i was getting error messages to my admin for each double post --

I'm getting no admin email errors, and the 25 templates I need to work thru this weekend should cure all the other oddities...

the script portion of the upgrade took 15 minutes...considering the horror stories i was reading on 6-8 hour upgrade times....

even with 1.4m posts

i agree with some of the people starting to get pissy, too -- there has got to be a better way to upgrade, including hacks -- i imagine some day soon it will be easier --
