I live in GigHarbor and was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere I could go to get more info and/or maybe installation (if it requires fabrication or what not) on getting more power for my 94 Land Cruiser. She's got 160,000 miles but I'm getting tired of doing 5 under going up hills when towing on my way too and from school in Pullman. Not trying to spend anything over 3k and also want room for an arb so no big IC's too haha any info is much appreciated thank you!

don't think that are many options for that kind of money out there, especially with someone doing the fab/installation. when I had my 80, I just excepted the fact it was somewhat underpowered by the modern standards and tried to enjoy the ride, not being in a huge hurry to there and back...

Call Engine Haus, They are there in Gig Harbor.

I literally cannot stress to the OP or anyone else on this planet how incredibly BAD this idea is.

Multiple 80-series owners have had head gasket failures within a short time frame of dropping thousands for this guy to rebuild their engines for them. He has zero interest in warrantying anything (he'll advertise 6 years but have so many limitations and restrictions that it's worthless).

Everything is now farmed out to a mechanic in Tacoma. It used to be some guy in a rented garage in Gig Harbor. His customer service is abhorrent and he's screwed several mudders in the past.

By the way, if you want it done right I would recommend biting the bullet and getting it to a dealership, Torfab up in Mukilteo or Land Cruisers NW down near Portland.

Wow. Yohavos, thanks for the warning. That's why this Forum is such a good tool for us all. I almost dropped a load of $ on this guy for a long block.

I use Land Cruisers NW for a lot of work. They just baselined my LX and tuned it. Nice guys and they know their stuff.
