No, there is not a San Antonio group setup YET. A former Austin member has come back with the blessing of LSLC to get us together and I think there is probably four others that would commit to regular meetings. For now I meet regularly with the local TTORA guys, since I fit in with my mini truck but it's open to all Toyota owners.

Count me in for a local group. I am new to San Antonio and would love to get to know other land cruiser people here. I'll probably shoot myself later for saying so, but I have tons of experience with fun club organization etc.

San Antonio meeting

I've been saying I'd put together a meeting for the past six months but haven't yet (sorry). We had a group in '00-'02 but it kind of fell apart. I'd like to get one going again since we have a good number of cruiser owners in San Antonio.

Since I've failed to do it will you guys take the lead and set one up? I would prefer nights other than Monday or Wednesday if that's possible. I have an email list of people in the San Antonio area with cruisers that I'd be happy to pass along. People on the list live primarily north of downtown and are spread across the area from west to east. Some people live as far west as Helotes and as far east as New Braunfels. It might be good to choose a meeting spot in between, on the north side to accomidate peoples driving distances. Organizers choice though.

Once I get the email list from Brett working and compare it to the list I have plus any other names that might need adding, I'll go ahead and send out an "official" email containing the location and date for hopefully our first of many 'Cruiser meetings. We should still keep posts up here in the LSLC chapter along with the emails just incase we missed someone or a newbie pops in.

As it stands now, the meeting will be moved to FRIDAY, the 28th. We will keep separate from TTORA even though the day for their meeting is the same. Thursday's are a reasonable compromise for most, however Brett cannot make Thursday’s for a while. I would really like to have Brett here at this meeting since he has contributed so much with organizing us. Lets chose a location and get that email out so everyone will have adequate heads up prior to the meeting.

Someone parked a blue square-bezel 40 behind my 80 on base at Randolph today. It has a LSLC.org sticker

You know I if I'm not mistaken he use to meet with us before the chapter dissolved. I just cannot remember his name, but if you see the 40 again would you leave him a note about a new LSLC chapter and my email address?
