While I was at Moab, I was able to take a spin in Christo's 100. The Safari Turbo kicks serious ass! I took it down Hwy 191 a bit to see what it would do. From a dead stop, it takes off pretty quick, but when it hits about 2800 rpm's, watch out! It takes off like a bat out of hell. I was really surprised that it would make THAT much difference.

Once I had it up to cruising speed on the highway, that's where I discovered the real treat though. Driving along at 60-70 mph, when you punch it, it pulls really nice. The full-time 4 wheel drive is sweet because there's no tire spin or anything, it's just instant power to the ground.

If you ever want to do a serious upgrade to your 100, look no farther than the Safari Turbo. Its a lot of money, but wow does it transform a 100. The problem now is, I've driven Christo's and my 100 feels like a limping dog. :crybaby:

Ya, Christo let me take it for a spin too...that thing is SWEET! I'd like to see what a difference it makes towing....I'd bet pretty damed significant. Christo, you said this was not CARB legal for CA because of the cat...just out of curiosity, is there anyway to make that set-up legal for CA?

So it seems that for around $38,000 you can take it for a spin:flipoff2:

If I was made of money, my truck would be parked down there right now:cheers:
