While I was at Moab, I was able to take a spin in Christo's 100. The Safari Turbo kicks serious ass! I took it down Hwy 191 a bit to see what it would do. From a dead stop, it takes off pretty quick, but when it hits about 2800 rpm's, watch out! It takes off like a bat out of hell. I was really surprised that it would make THAT much difference.
Once I had it up to cruising speed on the highway, that's where I discovered the real treat though. Driving along at 60-70 mph, when you punch it, it pulls really nice. The full-time 4 wheel drive is sweet because there's no tire spin or anything, it's just instant power to the ground.
If you ever want to do a serious upgrade to your 100, look no farther than the Safari Turbo. Its a lot of money, but wow does it transform a 100. The problem now is, I've driven Christo's and my 100 feels like a limping dog.
