I'm sorry to report that LSLC lost a good friend, one whom we were so very dear to.
Joyce Chavez passed away earlier today.
Joyce was the founder and driving force behind Haven House, and Compass Ministries, over the years LSLC was the largest single contributor to the efforts to provide a happy Christmas to needy children of Fannin County.
Those of you that were present each year when we made our donation know, she was real and the gratitude was real.
She loved all of us so very much.
I would like us to send a nice wreath with Lone Star Land Cruisers to the service.

Yes, that's sad. Bonham has lost a shining star.
Joyce did a great job organizing a bunch of folks to get an important task done.

Please do so, with our sympathies. I never got to go to the event, it was always on weekends in December, and I just couldn't get the time. So sorry to hear this, and please let me know if there is any thing I can do to assist in this.
