I have some body rust I'm looking to get corrected. Does anyone have any recommendations in the KC area?

Maybe the guys at Adventure could point you in the right direction. Also seems like Lewis Toyota in Topeka used to have a great Toyota body shop.

Rust is a tricky one because most body shops don't want to touch it. The risk of it coming back is generally too high for them to offer some sort of warranty on it and, as such, tend to turn that kind of work away.

The one that I've found that was willing to do some work was Butler C&D Collision Repair in Merriam. The price seemed right of the work, however, I haven't had the work done. If you do end up using them, I'd be curious to know how it turns out.

I gave them a call, looks like the owner retired and sold the business to Caliber Collision. They no longer do rust correction.

Tanner's Collision gave me a quote for rust correction. I'm likely going to clean it up myself since it's going to be under a new bumper and doesn't need to look pretty.

They quoted me 10 hours of labor for the rear drop panels.
