Rust Belt?

Hello from a nearby flat state.

I'm looking at a cruiser that spent its life in Lenexa, KS and Omaha, NE. I'm wondering how deep in the rust belt that is. I grew up in Cleveland, so I've seen some scary cars. How bad do you all perceive the road salt/rust issue around there?

I'd inspect very close. Most have rust. I'd say minimal at best on a 20 year old vehicle. But there is always an exeption to the rule

Mine had and still has more rust than I want. Wasn't sure where I was headed with it when I started. It's turned out really nice and wish I would have gone south to get one.
