I finally got a chance to check this relatively new park out.
It is 3 to 3.5 hours straight south of KC via I-49.
50 minutes south of Joplin if you are coming from a different direction. No reasonable Hwy to get close other than I-49.
Staff is excellent. Everyone very friendly and place seemed to be kept clean.
Lots of small cabin options and several large cabins being built.
11 RV sites with Electric. Dump station on site.
For full size rigs their crawler trails are only challenge when dry. Winch would only be necessary if extremely wet or non full size rig and I would say range from a 3 - 5 difficulty.
This was a former Horse ranch and it is hit and miss on whether the non-crawler trails are wide enough for full size rigs. When dry they are not much of a challenge other than spotting through and exercising your steering wheel muscles. When wet many are steep enough to provide a good challenge.
There are 2 nice areas where PeeWee challenges could be held if not too busy with non-full size rigs.
There are Non-Full size rigs race events once a month so check their calendar before you go.
Owner has the equipment on site to add new or modify trails and is actively looking for input on this. There are several groups that plan trail maintenance/creation events already. I think he seemed very open if we wanted to have a small group show up to help ID which of the other trails are full size rig capable and places to add more crawler trails.
All in all a nice place to visit and play for a day or two if you want to see something different.
