So there are some that are wanting to give Fordyce a shot after Rubithon this year. I figured. We should kinda get everyone on the same page .
First and foremost this has nothing to do with any event . Just want to make that clear upfront . I do not remember the exact mileage from Tahoma to the Eagle Lakes staging area is
. Maybe 30-40 miles I guess . As of right now the plan is to possibly start in Sunday late afternoon. I have to get everybody and everything out of the Rubicon first . We will see how that goes . Worst case we will start in on Monday . Fordyce can be run in a day . If you have a tow rig. You can leave it at the staging area and it’s about a 1 1/2 drive back around . Fordyce is not the Rubicon. While there are areas of the trail that are mellow and just cruising through the woods. There are also sections that are definitely a challenge. If you struggle on the Rubicon you are not ready for Fordyce . The water flows are up right now. But rigs are still making it through. And It looks like they will be dropping at the end of June a little. .
I will be taking my 40 that has a couple stock parts still and my Friend is bringing his buggy . I believe we will have a 80 joining us also ( Oregon Trail ) ? And it’s possible we have a 4 runner . Maybe (agent orange) ?
