Rubber Booty??

Okay, I am new at this so forgive me. I have an FJ 60, 1987. I had the truck fluids and ignition wires changed recently. Today as I was cleaning and getting familiar with the layout I found a rubber booty with 4 snaps across the top forming an inlet and an outlet. I assume it is meant to keep moisture out of something like the distributor. Am I correct?

Sound like the distributor cover. Pics would confirm this.

sounds like the place you went to didnt feel like putting it back on when they did the wires and the plugs.
