how do you like my super poser "rovota?"....I had the spare off so I thought I'd see what it looked like rover style.....I'm sure you'll agree that it looks rather silly......Rob M Concord, MA USA

errrr.... hate to tell you this, but you stuck the hitch in the wrong end....
(does look more brit this way, though)
:D :D :D

That would crush my hood for sure! Any one else have this problem? On the highway, the middle of the hood will flex and pop up and down?! Have thought of several things to "fill" the hood to help support the middle of it...Hmmm....insulating/expanding spray foam maybe? Drill a small hole in the bottom skin of the hood?

Anyone else?

That hitch is the most useful mod. Courtesy of Chrsito! A million more thanks man! just htis past weekend I pushed a couple of boats different boats around....If you've never tried pushing a trailer you will love it.....I will admit that highway speeds do get somewhat tricky....Rob....As for the hood....my hoods sems OK never had any problem. The wheel was onlt there for a few stationary minutes....I'd say if yer hood is moving around than you have some adjustments to do on the ribber nubbins at the front maybe...

I think you need to put some stains under the truck to have it more roverish. With the hitch in the front though it still looks like your truck was providing some 'favors' if you know what I mean.

the HOOD doesn't move...just the top skin of it flexes...seems like it could get pushed in and not pop out...

True, True.....This truck keeps the water out when it rains and the lubricants in...Very different from the rover.... Heck there aren't even any LUCAS (the prince of darkness) electrical components to be concerned with.....The electrickery is what has grounded my rover for the time being....As for the hitch, it was made by Slee a few years back. I have the rear plate/fuel fill cover from some sort of cadillac or muscle car that covers the reciever when the draw bar is removed...
