1980 Landcruiser FJ40 by Bob McDonald. With the exception of the original steel hood the all-aluminum bodywork was fabricated by Aqualu Industries and is finished in Audi Quattro Aviator Grey. This 500+ hour restoration features a crate 350 cu.in. by GM Performance along with a Mark’s V-8 adaptor from Australia. The stock Toyota 4 speed has been rebuilt as well as the original differentials with the rear featuring a GM posi-unit. Power steering and power disc brakes are also part of the package. This one of a kind restified Landcruiser is sitting on 17” American Racing rims wrapped in Geolander M/T tires. Some of the brand names represented include: Autometer, Edelbrock, Flowmaster, MSD, Warn etc. No details have been overlooked on this frame-off project. Fewer than 1000 miles have been clocked on the odometer while it has not been off-road nor washed since it’s completion in early 2006.
