With the added benefit of being able to go around saying oetiker...
If your fuse holder is questionable do you replace with the same glass style setup or move to something with a spade ATM holder?
Also looks like 15amp is desired amperage?

This stuff in the paint booth is going to have to cure overnight. It’s like 200% humidity today.
I have the same one-piece steering box sitting in my garage with the same note from Mark. I picked it up from his shop (about 4 or more years ago, now) and at the time, he told me those install instructions and as I recall they were pretty important... unfortunately, (I'm not too proud to admit) I can't recall what those instructions were....
Maybe Mark @65swb45 can chime in here so we both will know, as I'm planning on getting back at the currently dismembered '68 this summer now that I'm feeling better.
And your write up will save me hours of time puzzling out the reinstall of the steering/shifting column!

I took a ride to the body dude to check in on the bent top and drop off the headliner. He ordered some more rivets for the visor. Should be ready next week.
Sweet, just finished painting my top. Hung the headliner on a rack for a week or so then used the heat gun on low to remove the wrinkles. Which headliner you going with? I went OEM (cause OCD) not the cheapest option though and I had to wait to get it from UAE.

I shoved Rosie out to work on the OddBall and just got the rear spacers in when I got a knock on the door and the metal building guys are here.

Still waiting on the damn pallet to show up from Valley Hybrids. It got a major delay somewhere. Going on 11 days ……

Good luck with the pallet. I just waited 3 weeks for a part from Japan. Once it arrived the USPS clerk sat on it for a few days, didn't tell us he had it, then sent it back because we didn't pick it up.

Got home and got the trans/transfer stabbed. It fought me a bit. It’s tight getting it all in there but the new jack was clutch.
Then I started to put things together and the Wizard showed up with a little tool he made to spin the PTO winch ….
Yep. Brendan had this really sweet restored PTO winch in his massive pile of stuff and when we determined we were not going to cut up the hump and use a header a functional PTO went out the window.
I suggested we put it up there anyway. They look so damn good.
Problem is getting 150’ of cable on it without a PTO
Greg made a tool that slipped over the shaft and bolted in the shear pin spot. Then we put the big boi Milwaukee impact on it and bolted it to the steel table and we rolled it up
Cowboy chased the cable all the way across the yard as we spooled it on slowly

Just pretend it really works….. that is our secret.
This is a brand new OEM bumper Brendan bought but drove off with it and scratched the crap out of it. We sanded it down and added fresh powder
We made a little bracket so someone can’t come along and free spool this pretty cable stack.
Tomorrow I will figure out how to reinstall the linkage and maybe fire this thing up.
