- the 25mm Grommet w/ the tape-off nipple spout is for the RED rear wheel well side marker sub-harness the feed up through each side , also feeding the tag lamp's / lamp depending on year starting in 1969- later , i like the sparky new use application the read-lamp bucket H4 plug feeds , good show !

- the low-profile Color-Temperature
RED and Green LED's for the in-dash indicator lamps , they have a like ZERO room inside once the oem socket is snapped up in place , and such are a LOW-LUMEN so are to not over-power the same in kind color tone KOITo lenses , rather give off a warm rich cozy glow that all the early-era folks can really take a fond liking to ....:)

- gotta go LED baby steps with Nolan's " patina-club" crowd 😇

Although there is nothing exciting to photograph I have finished wiring the Dakota.

Sniper is wired in ….all but the fuel pump which has yet to ship

All I need to do is make a fuel sending unit harness. The only downside to the Dakota is the way they do the fuel sending. It’s not accurate in any of the presets for the Toyota sending unit. It’s also weirdly sensitive and does not like the OEM wire that comes through the harness.

Also got the jack back from powder keg

it would take a Factory ASCO PTO winch to pull that sparky rear heater out of it's roots there with sprite #8 JIS mark head SEMS .

very kool Nolan :D:beer:

I was planning on sending Brendon by Toyota Matt’s house to fix these stupid LED blinkers on the way home but I’ll be damned if I did not figure them out.

I added some new grounds to the body and to the second passenger relay and one of those things fixed it.

I’m cracking a 4:00 beer for that.

You’re the BEST! Cheers 🍺🍺🍺🍺

That’s the receptacle plug in for the drop light…It has the”hard to find” little black cover that’s normally missing. 😀

I went and got coolant this morning and some heat sleeve for these braided lines that are so close to the header.

I just randomly thought to test the rear heater. This 69 has a separate power switch for it.

Dead. **** me.

I pulled it apart and found it has a ground line that was not attached. I got it grounded to the housing and now it’s doing right.

Another plug for owning a PowerProbe.

that is a 2 speed rear heater

a added home-run ground is a desire here too if possible

Someone suggested I use one of these weldless return bungs. Drain and clean the tank but leave just enough gas in it to swish your drill particles back to your side of the tank so you can use a magnet in the sending unit hole to fish it all out (was not much)

This thing basically swells up like a rivnut against a rubber gasket. Makes it super solid.

I added it in the center chamber so I could get to the metal shavings and it’s also separate from the fill /vent and pickup chambers

It would be pretty impossible to do this swell bolt and the hold (big fit-all wrench) with manual tools. My small 1/2” driver made easy work of it.
