The perfect center hump that protected Rosie from the 4 speed ….

I have been really happy with this stuff to line the hump. It’s made for this application and it super sticky and has held up great.

I pressure washed and degreased the hump then cut this sheet up to fit. This uncut hump took the whole box.

Next I added the SOR gasket kit. These are great and really take a lot of the heat and noise out as well.

Is that a catalytic converter in there?

Yes I put them on all of my Sniper builds. These things like to run fat and the cat cuts down on the smell at idle

Major progress.

The whole exhaust is welded up. It will come out for final welds tomorrow. Then buffed satin. He also has to make one hanger. Looks awesome

custom build header collection pipes, or is that a kit you can get somewhere? The Y pipe on my two piece headers is holding me up.

Edit: actually I can see that is quite a bit different than what I have. Which headers? I'm kinda regretting my header choice now that I'm reassembling everything.

These are SOR. The MAF 2 piece are beautiful but the Y pipe won’t work on a 40. It has to be completely redone.

This is from Mustard 78

Fuel system is all in place. I’ve been hoping the transmission would show up today so I can snick it in place before I crank it. I want the fuel tank and hump out so I can hook up all that dopey 3 on the tree linkage correctly. If I put gas in the tank it becomes a big ole hassle.
