Some of the sealer in the roof gutter was damaged from roof rack gutter mounts. This resulted in some rust forming and seeping down along the front door pillar where the front of the drivers door meets the body, if that makes sense. Save removing the roof and chopping everything up, any thoughts on the best way to put this rust to sleep, for awhile anyway. I have the skills to cut out a portion of the roof to gain access and possibly shoot some rust converter in there, then weld the patch back on. This is on an fj60

cheers!

I've a similar problem with my Pig. I plan on gaining access w/ cutting out as little metal as possible and then applying LIBERAL amounts of POR15 to cover as much rust as possible. This won't be a permanent fix as I'm sure I won't be able to reach everything but it should help for some period of time.
