Roof Racks FJ Cruiser

Another newbie here. Just joined this great forum.

I purchased my FJ in August of last year (silver) without the factory roof racks, sorry didn't care for them. I figured I'd wait til the after market stuff came out. I've seen a few i like, but specifically here's what I'm looking

Short Rack the sits to the back of the roof.
On Rails, so the rack can be removed easily.
Basket type rack.

Anyone have a solution? Please post pics and let me know where ya got 'em.

I just modified the stock roof rack to "half-size" and added yakima towers and bars. You can add a basket or any of yakima accessories.

I'm kind of jonesing for an Airland, but seeing how freakin' high off the roof yours is... geez. Does anyone manufacture aftermarket crossbars that would effectively eliminate the need for the factory roof rack and permit a much lower height profile for these rooftop tents?

That is not my rig, that is Wayne's.
He says it does not effect the handling of the rig when it is up there.
