Roof rack removal

What size are the torx screws used for the roof rack? I dont want to by a set to do one task. I want to paint the roof so mj FJ exterior will finally have no silver or white.

The answer to my own question is #40, but I,ve already managed to spin the torx in 2 of the screw heads. There is a sealant in the threads that makes them really tough to unscrew. I might end up just removing the ajustable bars and masking the rest. I suppose I could use an EZ out. It's turning into a real pain.

Are you trying to do this with a drill/driver, or by hand? Often things get stripped easy if you use the drill/driver. Constant heavy pressure with a strong grip should get those torx out. The pressure keeps the torx from slipping and stripping.
