I just bought an FJ Cruiser (2007) and when it rained yesterday, my roof was leaking, it was wet all along the driver side of the roof on the interior right above the windows...could this be a leak where the roof rack is mounted???? Anyone else had this problem?

If the rack isn't sealed correctly it will indeed leak. I would take it off and put it back on and seal it properly w/ putty and/or rubber washers.

Is it brand new or used? I ask this question simply because it could be the seal around your windshield. If your windshield has ever been replaced, I know a lot of first generation FJ's had an issue with the windshields. I speaking from experience. I purchased my cruiser in june 06, and had to replace the windshield 4 short months later. And the glass company did not reseal the winsheild properly, I hear it's a pain to change the windsheild because of the tiny clips holding the trim in place. Well atleast it was whent the cruiser was still very new and not a lot of people knew how to work on them etc. My roofed leaked right around the windsheild a lot!!!!! After 2x's to the dealer to get the man to fix it, the leak was taken care of. Just a thought.
