'77 FJ-40, Warn 8274-50, Synthetic Rope, What is the recommended roller fairlead? Google shows a lot of ATV but nothing popped out for my vehicle/winch combo. Finishing a frame off resto and now looking for the best bumper and fairlead for the rig. Thanks.

Hawse Fairlead is good for the occasional user and preferred for synthetic rope. Plus they are low-profile and light.
Roller Fairleads would be better for someone doing a lot off pulling; it reduces friction and preserves the life of your winch and cable. Plus it’s better at pulling from hard angles.
I personally like the look and weight you save from a Hawse Fairlead when running synthetic rope.

I second the opinion on the hawse fairlead, get aluminum or polymer. Just be careful that if it gets gouged on rocks that it needs to be smoothed off so it does not cut the synthetic rope. They are really inexpensive, you can easily get one on Amazon for around $25.

Thanks guys for the info. I'll give SE Overland a call on Monday.
