Anyone on here from any of these towns (or know anything about any of them)? I have been through Rockwall and eaten lunch in Greenville. My wife and I are contemplating moving there by years end. I would possibly be opening up a Chick-fil-A in Greenville. We have family with about 100 acres in Royse City just south of Greenville. What kind of wheeling is there around there? Any good golf courses? More importantly...demographics? schools systems? private schools? etc.

Any help is much appreciated,

I dunno about a chick-fil-a in Greenville. I don't know if the demographics would carry such an enterprise (but I haven't been there in a few years); you might want to spend a week or two there first. Now, Rockwall? Sure! without even checking. Wheeling is sort of close in Gilmer. Don't know about golf, though.

Agree. We are not 100% sold on the idea. We do know that we want to be in east texas and north Dallas is more than likely where we will end up. I am also looking into other things as well. I have a golf/restaurant background with a ton of business experience (my own business and other peoples/government). Just looking for any insight some locals might have.

If you are considering North Dallas/Collin Country (Plano, Frisco, MacKinney, Allen, etc), the demographics is perfect for the Chick-fil-a. They are opening the Chick-Fil-A as fast as the houses are being built in this area.

Any chance you could open up a Chick-Fil-A right near the Johnson Space Center here in Clear Lake, TX? The nearest one is about 5-6 miles away and it is impossible to get there, eat, and get back to work in an hour due to the traffic. It would be a gold mine.

Zip Code would either be 77059 or 77058.

Great wheeling is anywhere from 3-6 hours away, fishing and golf are 5 minutes away.

I don't see why it wouldn't work in Greenville. Granted I don't spend much time there. I'm in McKinney which is 30 miles west of there, but the few times I drive through there it seems like it's growing pretty well. As fast as the rest of this area is growing, I think it would be a prime target area.
I played golf with the owner of the McKinney CFA once. He seemed to be doing alright. :D I only know of the one here in town. McKinney could easily handle another one, especially on the west side.
