Rocker assembly question (1 Viewer)

How important is it to keep the rocker arm assembly in the exact order in which it came off for reassembly? Working on a 150k mile engine here, nothing looks worn out per se.

I'm dying to throw all these parts in the parts washer together.

I would engrave a number on the parts and throw them in the cleaner

I'd say very important for the pedestals and rockers.

I think I'm going to end up cleaning each part one at a time and then reassemble in the proper location.

That's how I did mine. Pay attention to the "two" outlet holes in each rocker.
