Hey, All.
Crazy times and we are considering home schooling the kid’s this year. If we do so, we may be somewhat liberated from the confines of the typical weekday and able to do some traveling. We are considering doing the big 5 national parks in Utah... the problem we live in Georgia... so road trip may be in order as flying doesn’t seem like an appropriate risk.

I am looking for opinions on this type of road trip! We would rent a towable RV and do this strictly from RV parks...

we have a 2013 LC200 and it is generally setup for towing (10ply tires, brake controller, tow harness) but we have yet to truly test it...

Glad for opinions from those who may have pioneered the westward adventure!

Hey I grew up in Conyers. We live in Nashville now. We are long time homeschoolers and one reason is its flexibility.

We have driven out west 3 times now. 2x in our ‘01 lx470 and our last trip was a 3 week trip in a Ford F-250 with a slide in camper. It’s great family time. For me I’d much rather drive than fly. I like having my own rig instead of the hassle of renting something. There is so much to see out there! It is never long enough. Have fun!
