i was hoping you guys would know the answer to my problem. since road armor does not make a bumper for a 2nd generation toyota like mine and only starts making them for your body style and newer. i wanted to try and put the road armor bumper for the oldest body style taco that they make and put it on mine, but i dont know what the difference in front ends are. what does the front of the frame look like compared to my 1990 toyota pickup and what exactly does the mounting on the road armor bumper look like?

o ok that pretty much answeres my question... thanks

I thought road armor only made a bumper for the fjc? You'd be better off looking into ARB or TJM, or hey, follow the link in Traxman25's post. I've heard very good things about 4xInnovations.

FYI, the frames are very different, and you might as well fab a new bumper with all the work you would have to do to make it fit (but of course then it wouldn't line up with the body lines and be quite a bit wider.

they tacoma really is wider? well i have pocket bushwacker flares on mine which makes it alot wider... still wont work i guess

I would give Adam(traxman25) at 4x Innovations a call. I am very happy with the tube bumper he made for me.
