Rim mismatch.

So I am at my tire place in Sheboygan and they went to rotate in my spare and it has different lugs. It is a sleeved style instead if the conical style of the others. They are not immaculate rims by any means, but would anyone in wi have a conical style rim to trade for my sleeved style?

Otherwise I am going to have to buy another set of lugs to use with the spare. I'm leaving on aug 7th for a 2500+ mile road trip so I need to do the trade by then.

Worse case does anyone have a set of sleeved lugs to sell?

OK, I am looking online for rims or new lug nuts - how am I supposed to tell what has what kind of lugs? I don't see anything about conical or sleeved lugs - was my tire guy full of it?

well, 4 stock rims anyways...ha

Gibsons Salvage in Neenah had a couple 80's in there, but I haven't personally looked. Might be worth a call.

I have looked at Gibsons. I have the driver's seat out of the 96. It had two rims still locked on it. The 93 (early rim and lug nuts like yours) also had two rims left on it.

I'll be looking into those 2 rims on the 96 upon my return from CO. The 93 is what your after anyway.

FYI GIbsons is a Pick n pull. They haven't a care what is out there nor wheter it is a trooper, rover or cruiser. The trucks were way far apart. Best bet is to drive up there and walk the yard to find what you want. Calling will just get you a disgruntled worker telling you that he/she has no idea if they have what you want and then telling you that you should come and look yourself. Hell it's fun. I always find a dozen or so trinkets I'm not willing to buy new but will grab a handfull for a couple bucks.

Well - that explains why when I called they didn't have any land cruisers

I am leaving today for 2.5 weeks for a tour around the great lakes - hopefully there will be no blow outs b/c I don't have a rim that fits my truck on my spare! I will take a run up there at the end of the month and see what I can find.
