OK, the carpet has go to go.

I am going to coat the entire floor of my 80, maybe the inside/sides too.

Linex won't touch it because it's too much work for them even after I take everything out.

So it's between Rhino coating or Durabak/do it myself.

Has anyone used durabak? If so does it hold up?

Or should I do the Rhino thing?

I'm sure Tommy can speak up on the Durabak stuff.

As for the floor of the 80. My carpet is horrible, plus having two puppies in there it needs a little TLC. So i had planned on pulling all the carpet up and putting some Dynamat down, then felt and then the newly cleaned carpet. Some have posted about how well the Dynamat insulates against heat and sound.

And welcome to the forum :flipoff2:

I used Durabak in pickup I had a few years ago. The stuff works well but does not build like the spray in liners. The durability was less than I had expected but putting in a snowmobile with 60' carbides and studs will tear up almost anything. I think if I had done a more thorough job of prepping it would have been fine. IMHO Durabak would work great on the interior and you would have more control of where you put it. Do a good prep and you'll be happy.
