Some folks just have areal knack for this stuff. All I can do is sit back and laugh my @$$ off
I had a different reply that said something about masturbation but I wasn't sure if I was drunk enough to post that.

Hmmm I must have caught it before a edit lol

Alright, back to tech: this is how I left my darling before this last work trip. Failing at my time down rule but to be fair, I can’t take her on the plane. She’s up on Jack stands and I figure I’ve got a few hours of noodling until I stab her good bits back home.

God I miss her…

T-case refresh, clutch replacement etc…
Finally got done did.
Almost finished last night but the fork for the hi low selector became in a different spot. I was tired, malnourished and slightly drunk asking Jimmy @CenTXFJ60 dumb questions like “why won’t it do the thing?”

Rolling around on god’s gracious gravel is made better when your ear buds are in and you’re on the horn with a bud who has a truck a few months older than yours, “hey Bryan, what’s the adjustment procedure for a new e-brake per the FSM?”
Bryan: “Says here to install it and use a one off SST”
Thanks for the live FSM looking up B @OlYellr

Exceeded my one week mandate but most mandates are stupid. Best I could tell, all of these services were the first time in 45 years:

- t-case rebuild
- gaskets in trans
- clutch
- pilot bearing
- throw out bearing
- rear main seal
- oil pan gasket
- the two fuel hoses that would be hard to get to
- I want to keep adding stuff because that list doesn’t seem to warrant how long that took.

Here’s pictures:

Now to clean up and get used to this new clutch.

Old clutch
Could’ve gotten a few more miles out of this baby…

I see the rivets were getting worn. What does the flywheel or pressure plate look like?

I did also remind you to grab another beer as you were getting more tools to lose in the gravel. I know, it's a lot like telling Dan Quayle to eat his vegetables.

Pressure plate was pretty groovy. Flywheel wasn’t bad but I had the time and @MatthewMcD would’ve been disappointed in me if I didn’t resurface it.

Proud to report no dead soldiers sir.
