During my HAMOM, I was short 8 bushings, and the gang encouraged me to order them and replace as it was a 5 minute job.

Did the front shackles last night and it took two hours, mainly because the right front spring did not drop down (and then all of a sudden did).

I will do the backs tonight. Here are my steps. Please help me figure what I am doing wrong:

1. Drink 2 PBRs
2. Undo shocks at bottom
3. Put jack stands under rear
4. Put jack under rear diff
5. Undo and remove shackles, guessing that I have neutralized the tension with the floor jack.
6. Put in new bushings.
7. Reverse
8. Drink 2 PBRs

Should I be taking the tires off for this?

Yep, they are greasable.

Should I undue both sides at once or do one at a time?

Ah, that explains the misallignment that slowed things down last night Looking forward to Saturday. We should be there at about 6pm
