Searched and browsed the threads and didn't find much. I have an M416 that I am about to finish and I would like to replace the floor if I can do it cheap enough. Jeeppanelsplus.com has them for $190 , but that gets pretty pricey including shipping. Anyone found a truck bed supplier? Feedback appreciated.

Are you sure that is the correct address?????I got some strange s*** from that website:eek:

Elmariachi,

If your M416 has a tailgate, then you could replace the floor with the center piece from a full sized truck bed. I read of one guy doing this and it worked great. It is still a lot of work replacing the floor. But, it is much cheaper than the Jeep Panels Plus floor.

what about some 1/4 inch or 3/16 flat diamond plate steel. Basically cut it to the right size and weld it in all ar5ound.

It would be stong and more resistant to rust. Only thing is the welds would be suspect of further rust, so whatever you do sandblast them after and use a good etching paint.
