Removing Vacuum Pump

I need to remove the vacuum pump on the alternator of my 70 series cruiser. I am putting a SBC into the cruiser and I dont need the vacuum pump as I can use manifold vavuum instead

Nope,I would rather see turbo or supercharged diesels if the existing powerplant doesn't meet the requirements of the owner
