Thought you guys could help with this. Trying to get to my ignition switch connector/wires as I've been having issues with truck not starting unless I play with steering wheel position. I've searched online but can't find info about Tacoma specifically,2008. Are there only 3 screws to remove shroud to check out the wires that lead to ignition? Thanks for any help, might need to replace the harness.

yes remove the 3 screws and then remove the shroud. youll have to turn the steering wheel to gain access to the screws and I lightly press at the seam between the top and bottom covers to start to get them apart as they have lock tabs to hold them together. if you need more access removing the steering wheel is easy, remove the side covers to get to the air bag bolts (their t27 torx) and the nut holding on the wheel is a 19mm

Thanks Bigred, I see the 2 by the steering wheel...cant find that 3rd one. Thanks for your time. I know it's right there in front of me, somewhere.
