It will be a square box 4.3x3.4.2,5(h). In front of the pass side tire on the trailer will be a slide out kitchenette for the stove, sink, food, and dishes. The rest of the box will have a lid on top that folds flat against the top of where the kitchen slids out. 6" PVC water tanks will be on both sides of the axle for water. Later when I can afford it, a small generator and solar battery chargers. (or just the generator). On top of the box will be my roof top carrier for clothes and other light stuff that I can take off for easy access. I am working on the drawings of the box tonight. But I will probably put the traielr on hold as I am about ready to start power steering on the cruiser.
Here are some initial drawings of the utility box and the slide out kitchenette. The space on the right is for my Coleman stove. When not in use, a small plastic bin for dish washing will go in its place with a water valve and a toggle switch for the water pump. No drain planned at this time. I can just toss the water out when the bin fills up. (of course I will use “camp suds” as to not harm the environment or contaminate streams via runoff)
This utility box will not be huge as there will be cross bars on the box and my car top carrier will be on top for additional storage. The total dimensions for the box are 48”L X 38”W X 22”H (the size of the deck on the trailer). The legs for the kitchenette will be some type of galvanized water pipes that have flat screw in pluming bases for the feet and also for the bottom attachment points. I'll use the pump faucet for water. I will not need a lot of water, just enough to wash dishes and take a spit bath. The plumbing for that will be attached to two 6" black PVC pipes on both sides of the axle for about 20 gallons of water.
