anyone know what the relay on the left does? ( BJ60-70 Harness)

Other two are starter relay and glow relay, which I plan to replace with generic relays .likely the cheapo ford starter solenoids.( unless someone has some cheap...:hillbilly:)

And I'll use the same thing to replace that 3rd one, provided it doesn't require a better duty cycle??

which is why I ask.

cheers,

Ok, i will go first, It looks like a glow plug relay to me, I know I have a similar one for a replacment set up in my delica, but its hard to say with out knowing where the wires run.... could be to activate alot of things, but for sure its a gate switch inside.

whats the part #

buggered if I know... I don't actually have any of the three, so that pic is about it.

I can almost make out the number on that pic..looks like 18610-64020 maybe?

my 24v bj70 has one up forward on the drivers side mounted to the battery box, so I think it's on all the 3b trucks. I can probably check the part # on the one in my 70 and see what the 24v version does. or maybe when it clicks:lol:

I'll probably just end up grabbing 3 generic solenoids and wiring them in, see what happens.

wouldn't be a real land:censor: without faulty wiring and random electrical fires...

the relay on the left is the main glow relay, the center one is the sub glow relay, the one on the right is the starter relay.the part # on the main glow relay should be 28610-54---

well I was sorta close....:grinpimp:

jeeezus toyota makes it complicated just to start those s***ty old engines..

If I'd skipped all the edic and superglow crap I could've cut half the wires out of the harness..

anyways, thanks for the input, plain old starter solenoids should do the trick.
