We have assembled some recovery kits with all of the needed gear. Kits have a 30' tow strap, 8' tree saver, 4" heavy duty greasable snatch block, a D-Ring and a pair of leather gloves. I saw this kit at the Southern Cruiser Crawl a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was a very impressive value.
The TEQ bag put's it over the top. I'm going to use the black bag that comes with this kit for my winch control, gloves, D-rings and tree saver. Then I'll keep my tow straps, snatch blocks, extra d-rings and such in my Trail Team bag. The smaller bag is easier to keep close to me in the truck. Especially if I'm wheeling with 4 people I don't want the big bag up front.
Jeff's a great guy and you can trust these kits to be tough.
Jeff, you ought to post the load ratings for those straps. They aren't leftover load slings like my first nice tow straps were!
