Hello,
I am a relatively new Mud Member and FZJ80 owner. Currently I am working on doing some PM stuff and getting the truck ready for a mainland mexico trip in mid january, (will be spending 2-3 weeks around the Puerto Vallarta area....) Last weekend a friend and I handled the front axle rebuild....what a dirty job that was....
I am planning on running some trails while down in Puerto Vallarta....I found a local website with trail locations around http://vallarta4x4.org/index.html. Check out some of the trail pics pretty cool jungle trail runs with river crossings....Anybody care to join me on this mainland mexico trip? We can set up a caravan.....not too late. Come to think of it. I will post a separate thread....
My rig is currently set up with Nitto Terra ATs 295's, J springs in front, 2.5 heavy's in the rear....Just installed a Slee transfer skid plate.....No lockers....no sliders....
I would appreciate if you would recommend some local trail runs where I can enjoy my rig at my current set up. I am relatively new to off roading and am looking forward to meeting some of you in future trail runs....The mud forum has been a great resource, good group of people.
James
