I've got a DC Fabrications rear bumper with two swingarms. I'm wanting to rebuild them both, and after taking the cap off, I have a 37mm castle nut in each. I've searched all over, but can't find a 37mm socket or replacement 37mm castle nuts. I can probably reuse the castle nuts since they are in pretty good shape, but just wondering if anyone else has these in their swingarms, and if so, what you used to remove them?

I was able to loosen them and snug them back up with a screwdriver, but tapping from the side, but definitely want to socket tighten them once I clean the bearings and races during the rebuild.

TIA

You're positive they are 37mm and not just SAE 1 1/2" ? Even if they are 37mm I'd bet a 1 1/2" socket would work just fine, it's about 50 thou bigger...

Have you put a thread gauge on nut to verify it is indeed a metric pitch?

cheers,
george.

I haven’t measured the thread pitch, but it’s exactly 37mm. I bet it is 1 1/2” wide. Honestly, I’d buy both just to verify
