Rear tailgate auto close not working. (1 Viewer)

'14 LX and the upper rear tailgate won't auto open either from the dash or the key and won't auto close when you press the button on the tailgate. Anyone had this happen and if so , how did you fix it?

Are you referring to the rearmost back door that goes up or the tailgate itself that drops down?

There's a button on the dash, to the right of the steering wheel.
