And got it cheaper then going down other roads!
Horray

I hope what is pictured is what really shows up!

I have noticed between the body and the frame Toyota made those rings (spring like) in the tube. I imagine addressing the shifting between the two. I have watched a video that said that was not neccessary. Been practicing a bit and does not look that easy. Gonna watch some more.

Yes and no.....

Using some common sense they could be eliminated but care should be taken to address the movement between the body and frame and how that movement will affect the lines at their hard mounting points. Remember all tubing that you would use to make brake lines can/will work harden and crack over time and that is the purpose of that coil in the line to lessen the amount of movement seen at the hard point by spreading it over a larger area

Pics.
I exaggerated when I said I need to do my break lines. Really just have to get to the axles. I saved what had been there before and used some padding and padded fasteners as well.

Did a little funky bends to deal with vibrations…

Good to go? I guess I will need to see if my flares worked. Start with OP.1 3/16 finish w OP.2 3/16. Fingers crossed. I thought they looked nice.

I had my prop valve there before and it was nice. I thought that I was going to put a second battery in that area so I put the prop valve down on the frame, close to where you tie in the lines on yours. I ended up not having nearly enough room for a battery and now I am stuck with the prop valve in the worst spot ever. So hard to get to, it might as well be a Mercedes design. Of course I have been having issues with the valve seating right and just plain being a PITA.

This one self proportions. I don’t know how that works but Vanco said go so. I don’t really know why they used a larger nut for the back breaks. Probably just me but when I was putting the tube in, the inside hole/ where the tube lands looked bigger then for the front. Gonna call on Mon to confirm.

I have the same style but black (yup). Had a few but finally just got the CPP valve and hopefully I have chased that demon away. I don't know how it works but I stop well and I do not lock up the rear so I guess it is doing its job.

It’s official. Just began to tear down my driving cruiser to put on the no driving cruiser. Dropped the gas tank. Not gonna put it back.

So while I wait to get my cruiser corps order I gonna try to get this tank in. Gotta close up two supply holes and possibly close up the ones that go to that plastic thing in my driver rear quarter.

I always deal w people saying that my rig smells of gas! I hate that!

Other tanks seem to just have a fill spout and that’s it. I know I have to have a vent for when I fill the tank, but there is also a little vent on my pump housing. I seem to remember people saying that I should leave that plastic thing with all those hoses.

Thoughts?
