Or maybe I should ask first - is it accessible with a wrench or socket?

Pulling out the motor and noticed some oil on my floor jack. I found this.

Augh! Dummy doorknob must have been too rough with this thing moving it around. Don’t know who that was!

Fixable?

Yes the bolts are removable.

What pan is that from? Didn't you get the Camaro, hummer, etc. pan?

Yeah, just got it in my head it was the oil pan. I had a hole in my transfer case and got it welded, just alum.

So I have been trying to put off the tear down of the perfectly good running pig, but the time has come.
I have redone the four doors and tailgate in the past Went through and fixed up the front fenders way back.
The only way I can get this engine running is if I have fuel and a place to hang the radiator. So I think the time has come for big moves!
Pretty exciting.

My buddy has been trying to find another scrappy donor, but have had no luck. I think this is the only way. I am moving the spirit of the old into a new improved body! Kinda thinking it would be nice to do that with my own body too. Just havent figured out the whole cloning thing yet.

So while I am waiting on brake line stuff I started to look at the engine. I have a line that connect the two fuel rails and it is rusted like crazy. Was thinking about doing a little sandblast to clean it up but would rather get a new one. Fuel and all
After searching forever I found the fuel return line part but cannot find this fuel delivery side.
Anyone got some search direction. If I can’t find it I guess I just go for a little sand blasting or take a ride out to the junkyard, see if I have any luck there.

Megadomer I searched eBay for sure and I saw parts that looked like that but mine do not have the nuts on the one side and are set up with incerts to the fuel rails. My ignorance is overwhelming!

To the California junkyard I go. Wish me luck.
