i have been snapping pins in the rear drive shaft over and over. :bang: I finally got down low and had a better look at it today. For some reason as i start to climb or actually i guess any time torque is applied, the rear pinion twists and points up! Pretty good amount. As you can see, first pics are sitting level and second pic is starting a climb.

What could cause this? Worn out rod ends or is my geometry off? The links are very similar to the front and the front does not twist like this?

Any ideas?

And yes, i do plan on moving the ESC up in a safer place and i will move the receiver down onto the axle. Just wanted to get it running after the upgrade to the goat!

what should i move and where?

Try moving the fronts of the uppers up.

will do. I have them at the bottom location just because i always thought that you wanted to keep all your links as parallel as possible.

I'll report back later this evening if that change makes a difference.

I will say, i'm LOVING the goat 3S! This rig will climb sooooo smooth and slow it's just awesome!

pretty much fixed it. Did two things; first, straightened the rear lower links back to original. Then moved the body mount link from the top to the bottom. Brought the upper and lower link more parallel. Made all the difference. :grinpimp:

also decided while i was at it, might as well go ahead and move the ESC inboard. It really doesn't weigh much and i would rather it be protected more than anything.

I like how it's sitting now. Probably stop messing with it and just wheel it. :hillbilly::steer: ....... indoor test track confirmed it!
